My names Chris but AXE2IT works well too.

 

Finally started re-assembling my 240 Z after 17 years of being under "THAT" car cover

 

Has anyone used BLACK DRAGON,  Z Car Source or Datsun Parts LLC ( all in USA ) ?

 

I am chasing Rubbers mainly and will need a few odd pieces here and there ( I may have some to sell eventually )

 

Christmas is coming and so is the plate ZD240... lets hope Santa delivers

i got my rubber kit from Motorsport Auto in the states.

I've purchased a few things from MSA both online and in person, and have no complaints about their service.

 

Also bought their weather seal kit. I've only really used the window/glass and hatch seals and they don't fit the best. The door seals and hatch seals are way too thick.

I have just recently, in the last two weeks, installed all new weather seals from MSA (www.motorsportauto.com). Cost about US$320 plus freight. I found MSA to be very good to deal with and email response was quick.

 

As for the rubbers, all were of good quality and pretty good fit. The door seals are, as mentioned above, a bit too thick so the doors require a bit of a slam to close rather than an easy push or pull but after the first week of install this has already improved. There was a slight issue with the real glass seal where the chrome trim inserts in one corner, the grove where the trim sits was sealed for a length of about 15mm, but this was easily fixed with a sharp blade.

Recently got some items from Datsun Parts LLC through their ebay store. Items arrived safe and packed well and postage didn't take really that long. I will be ordering from MSA in the future as they have alot of parts I need.
