SSZ Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Hi all. New to this forum and forums in general. I have just bought a 1974 260Z. The previous owner had a small block chev and turbo 400 in it. He took that out and sold the car to me as is..no engine or box for $500. So i plan to get a v8 and manual box and get the sweety back on the road. Anyway look forward to learning from you guys and gals Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 30, 2013 Moderators Posted April 30, 2013 Welcome to the forum.. V8 zeds are always good to listen to..post pics when you can! If you can, start a build thread if you need any help as I'm sure there will be plenty on offer. Quote
Scoota G Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I just finished a Small Block Cleveland in a 75 260Z, there's no kit so i custom made everything except the tailshaft. You'll love the V8 in a Zed. Quote
SSZ Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 Thanks I will get some pics up soon. Thanks for the tip on a build thread Quote

SSZ Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 I am near Bungendore...Canberra was easier to put up as no one has heard of my place. All assistance greatly appreciated Quote
dat240z Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Haha, yeah theres another guy on this forum Dave, who is in Braidwood... Hes pretty talented Quote
chris240 Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Meh, spent 5 years in Bungendore..... 3 mins walk to the top pub. If you ever go to the monthly markets at the War memorial hall, walk to the back of the site and look over the fence towards the neighbours yard, there is a 240z shell with bodykit thats been sitting beside the clothesline for 20 years ! Hurry up with the pics Quote
SSZ Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 I will look out for that one at the markets. I was in Bungendore the other day and saw a 300zx sitting on the footpath..looks like it had been there for sometime too. Found 3 old 260Z at farms about here too. Now to figure out this picture posting witchcraft Quote
