Morning datto peeps

Bought an L28 that after a compression check has seen me strip it down. Crank and bores are good so going to be putting in big end shells, rings (after honing) and new gaskets throughout. I'll also be stripping and referbbing the head. Just going to be using the engine in a street car. Any type or make of ring I should hunt out or will standard aftermarket stuff be the go? Anyone got currentish prices on those bits? Engine is 54/42 from a 1983 ZX. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Put an ARP head stud kit in there while you have it apart.

It'll probably set you back $2-300 for the studs, but it'll make it a lot nicer to assemble, longer lasting, and a lot stronger.
