stupid door lever plate screw 240z/260z

Ok, i have lost a screw in the process of re-installing my door skin on the drivers side. It is long gone and a rare screw. Its not one you can get easily. see below for which one.

It bolts in the chrome plate to the door itself (holds the chrome surround for the internal door handle). If anyone is dismantling a 260/240 door i would be happy to buy the chrome plate just to get this screw. Its a very short screw and is philips head.

I think it's just a basic m4 8mm long machine screw with countersunk head.

You may have to try a specialist metal supplier or fastener store but it shouldnt cost more than a couple of dollars.

Not many fastener places carry raised head counter sunk screws in stock.. I think the original ones were just standard flat head csk which are common as. Both will fit but the raised head ones may foul that small black plastic trim that clips in.

great idea. fastener may be the go for this, or hardware possibly. Will report back on this screw.

Generic central locking screws that fix the activation rod to the door lock rod will do the trick.
