Hey everyone, im going to put my 1974-1975 260z 2+2 up for grabs. The car is located in brisbane qld.

I haven't lost interest in this car, i just need money to help me build my business i've started.

Ive owned the car for a few years, and have slowly rebuilt all of the underneath of the car. I.e. front and rear suspension, braking components etc.

The car has be resprayed in ford mica blue, rust proofed underneath and on the inside including the floor pans.

The car starts, runs, drives, stops. I drive the car around the block most fortnights. All the electrics work, lights, fan wipers etc etc. This model has aircon etc. There is no seats in the photos as i was going to reinstall the carpets.

I have all the parts to finish reassembly, minus front windscreen, and some of the floor carpets. The car is 100% complete otherwise, just need the interior pieces reinstalled. Items left is carpets, panel piece's and front/rear windscreens. The car comes with a 100%complete new rubber kit for the entire vehicle. When purchased was $1000 just for the full rubber kit(with receipts for proof of purchase).

i can be contacted on here, or email carseen@homaildotcom, or phone : zero four one five seven zero seven four three one.

Thanks for looking.

the chassis number is 005289. the original body colour was silver, and there is no rust in the body or chassis. The car has had a manual conversion, and the car is looking for a new owner as i need a ute and this sacrifice needs to be made to get one.

I have an '89 Hilux dual cab SR5 with a blown head gasket.  It has a 2" lift kit and a canopy on the back.  It runs, but blows bubbles in the water.  2.8 diesal.

Hi mate,

I may be interested in this for a club car.

Just have a couple questions so I don't have to drive up there for no reason :P

Windscreen Replacement – Any chance you have looked into this? Cost?

Hows the Paint? Was it recently sprayed? Has it been garaged? Any paint lifting off or peeling?

Any noticeable rust since the repair?

What motor is in it, 26 or 28?

Seeing as the interior has been out of the car, what sort of condition is it all in? No water damage of the sort?

Any chance you know if it has an R200 or R180 Diff?

Stock Brakes? When were they reco'd?

Are you open to a conversation regarding the price?

Sorry for the interrogation, figured at least it's some more info about the car advertised if anything.

James,

I have a second hand windscreen without cracks if you get stuck for a replacement.

It should be an R200 diff. I haven't heard of anyone converting a 260 2+2 back to an R180.

If the car had been originally manual then it would have had a R200 diff; but as it was originally an auto then it would most likely have a R180 unless that was also changed out when the car was converted from auto to manual.

The car has a 5 speed manual with a r200 diff. The paint job was 7 years ago, though the car has been in storage since the paint job(garage with owner who painted the car, and carport/garage with me), it has not been blocked back and cut polished since painted from the gun.

Windscreens range from 250-600 new fitted, depending who through. Have all rubbers for car, front to rear, top to bottom(all bought new still in packets with original sales reciept).

The interior parts are in original condition and have been stored in my shed, so no water damage, though are in original condition. I believe there's some slight surface rust around the battery tray, though not serious.

I rebuilt the front and rear brakes recently, new rubbers etc etc.

It has the original 26 motor/with 5 speed box swap and r200 diff swapped. The motor runs fine, though a tune wouldn't hurt being original flat top carbs. The car has extractors and a straight through 2 quarter inch exhuast.
