Ok I just got two bonnets in, one is a full carbon 240Z bonnet from restored (on the right side of the pic, $1750), the other is an Aerodesu carbon-over-FRP bonnet ($960).
Aerodesu is now the Otomoto brand for carbon parts I have found from suppliers other than Restored.
The Restored bonnet is extremely light at only 4.59kg, but also noticeably more flexible than the other bonnet, with only one thin layer of FRP used to help the single layer of carbon keep its shape.
The carbon frame is well finished with threads in place for the bonnet latch and long bolts supplied to suit the thick hinge mounts. Along the edges there is perhaps more resin than needed, but overall a very good bonnet.
The Aerodesu bonnet weighs 5.91kg and thanks to two thicker layers of fibreglass behind the carbon it is noticeably more rigid.
The fibreglass frame is painted matt black which helps the appearance, though some of the edges are a bit sharp. It doesn't have any threads for the bonnet latch so you will need to use bolts. The hinge mounts are still fibreglass, but a bit thinner than on the Restored bonnet so you can use the normal bolts. The carbon surface looks just as good as the Restored bonnet as they are both hand-laid, but arguably better at the edges with less excess resin. Hope this extra info helps people make a decision
