BenZed
Out of pure curiosity are these wet or dry carbon fibre? They appear to be vacuum-bagged

luvemfast
Could you please enlighten us with what wet and dry means?
BenZed
'Wet' carbon is just hand-laid into the mould like most fibreglass parts and the resin added with a brush and roller. This usually means the woven carbon cloth is not perfectly flat and even in the mould and you can have some air bubbles and excess resin. Vacuum-bagging is a technique used to press the cloth flat and squeeze out the bubbles in the resin so you get a very smooth and even finish (plus a lighter final piece). As there is minimal resin the top surface also appears clearer (not cloudy), making the carbon look better too. There are more steps to the process but this is the basic difference. tbscobraZ
"Wet carbon is layed up like fiberglass where dry cloth is layed on the surface and resin is then applied. It can also include vacuum bagging and autoclaving which improves strength. It could also be where the resin is drawn in from one end to the other by the vacuum in the vacuum bagging step. This is almost as good as pre-preg, and will be lighter and stronger than normal layup and resin application.. Dry carbon is prepreg, it's carbon cloth with presicely controlled amounts of resin applied already. You just lay it up, vacuum bag it and autoclave it. It's lighter and will be as strong as possible thanks to the exact right mix ratio of carbon and resin." http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=587652 My mistake it's wet thanks. BenZed
If you find 240ZG flares a bit narrow and ho-hum, these are the flares for you! I have one set of these monster race flares which will fit over just about anything. The photo shows what they look like fitted. BenZed
not sure but if you have a front spoiler I expect they will need to be modified to fit anyway. The fronts measure just over 10cm at the top and the rears just over 14cm.
