scrumpy Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 I'm after advice on which lowering coils springs to buy for my car (25-30mm). Any advice. I don't want it to ride like choco's VL. I want a progressive rate spring that delivers the goods in ride quality with my adjustable Konis. Not too hard edge. I can buy King springs for $160 pair through Bursons or get some Eibachs from the US for a lot less. There may be something better; what are they? Tokico Tanabe What will match my Koni sports. They must also complement my 16x7 Rota's with 205/55/16. Thanks Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted May 13, 2008 Moderators Posted May 13, 2008 I'm running Kings springs 300Lb on the road and club events with Koni's. I think good all round performance. previous zed had 350Lb which was very harsh. Quote

scrumpy Posted May 13, 2008 Author Posted May 13, 2008 Are the 300lb King springs progressive or linear? What about Tokico springs? Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted May 13, 2008 Moderators Posted May 13, 2008 Linear.... 60mm on adjustable perches. I think even normal springs should give the same feel. Quote
620Z Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 My 300's are perfect for the track and road. Any harder and your ride will get a bit bouncy. Mind you with the adjustable Koni's I can firm it up a bit for on the track. Quote
