Took a while, but we have a new Z in Sydney. Arrived this evening. Loving that the original radio handbook was in the glovebox too. And, +1 for Align Car Carrying.

You were right - shipping cost more than the parts. Easily fixed though. Next time I'll ship multiple orders to a US address (I use myus.com) and get them to hold and combine several orders into a single international shipment. Keep the combined orders under 1k and you're all clear on the GST too.

Ahh, good tip. I'll hunt 'in car' before I try & buy the part. The console has a crack around the choke lever, so will be replaced pretty quickly too (so, I'll be poking around under there anyway).

Could anyone share a picture of your 260Z seatbelt hooks, or confirm if they even exist? Mine has the original belts but nowhere to hang the clip when you're not wearing the belt. I'm wondering what part I should be looking for (74 2 seater). Cheers, Andrew

Exactly what the seller said (the Delorean thing). I wasn't mad on them from the pictures, but they did (to me) look way, way better in the flesh. Kinda felt 'right' and, as Gav said, a nice stance too. I'm happy.

After a few months searching, I've just picked up the attached. It's currently in Vic but will be transported to Sydney next week. Drives really well, but it will make a stop at the mechanics first for a day of rego prep (nothing major). I'll be using as a semi-daily driver and look forward to coming along to a club day soon. Other than the side mirrors and retro wheels, it's super original - complete with the original AM radio (in glorious mono). And, to be disappointingly dull, I don't plan on changing much either - other than refurbing the dash (cracked on the top, but the front is perfect) and a few v small internal cosmetic fixes.
