Box of assorted spares. Starter motor. And alternator. Few rust spots in floor have been cut out. But personally would be best off with new floor pans Doors have been reskinned and new door cards fitted Rust bubble on RHS Quarter near front bumper. Few things I've probably missed but at this stage it's just and expression of interest
  3. I knew it wasn't directed at me, I was just stating I wasn't a fan either. I probably shouldn't have included your quote... sorry
  4. Ha, not really feeling it Gav

  8. Is this still for sale?
  9. Cheers for the link Gav
  10. Swap you my 350 for your 240...

  11. This car.... http://teamspeed.com/forums/automobiles/48701-fs-1972-datsun-240z.html
  12. Time to sell the house!
  13. Good to see this happening for the sports car scene, but can't help but wonder what Nissan are doing at the moment. The Z concept I guess will wait another year, unless it is unveiled in Geneva? At the moment all Nissan seem interested in are SUV's and Hatchbacks.
  14. Thanks for the responses Gav and 74zzz, I am a little new to the 240Z scene, but thought as much. There is so much to be aware of when buying a classic car, good to know people on here are willing to share their expertise Furthermore, and I know this is off topic but, is there a general buyers advice thread somewhere on the forum?
  15. What are peoples thoughts on this? Is this overpriced? http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Datsun-240Z-1973/OAG-AD-10474825/?Cr=0
  16. Great, cheers
  17. Little bit of S30 love in the video below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD7suDlkBdU
  18. Haha I will admit it was probably my favourite this year but my battery went dead so couldn't take enough pics of the other cars
  19. Sorry for the old bump, but hey I'm new to the forum Here are some of the pics I took from the 2015 AJD to share. Sorry that it is pretty much soley focused on one car, from memory my battery was going dead. My 350Z was there, but these were the highlights for me! I can send the original pics by email if anyone wants them, obviously these have been significantly cropped. Cheers,
  20. Thanks for the share. I'm not currently a 240Z owner, however looking at becoming one in the next few years. Is it an "owners only" group? Cheers,
  21. Hi all, I'm from SA, have owned my 2004 350Z track for 3 and a half years now. Great car to own, have enjoyed every minute, she still has only 46,700 on the clock (trying to keep the km down) I am a HUGE Z fan and have noticed that over the last few years I have more and more desire to look at japanese classic cars (hakosuka skyline) and in particular the Z heritage... this was only strengthened when at the All Japan Day here in Adelaide I was parked next to an amazing Z30 in 2014! I think this got me excited about old cars, however not being overly mechanically minded or having the practical skills, buying an old car has concerned me in a sense. Unfortunately my father who was a mechanic died when I was young, and I was never able to really learn from his skills. Anyway, I guess there are always options to buy one that is restored or already re-built up, but obviously you pay extra for that. Look forward to learning more on the forums and possibly becoming a 240Z/260Z/280Z owner in the next 2 or 3 years. Cheers
