  3. 1976 Datsun 260Z 2+2 SPORTS Price drop! http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/1093872485
  4. Yep, sold over the phone. Didnt think there was to much risk given what was shown in the photos. I plan to keep her as she is. And doesn't need too much doing just some sill work, minor cosmetics etc. Will knock up a thread when i get started.
  5. A proud new owner off to SA with it!
  6. 1976 Datsun 260Z Manual - $21,800 http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/_/SSE-AD-3713797?WT.seg_4=AutoAlert;PCAA&sdmvc=1&utm_campaign=bau&utm_medium=email&utm_source=transact&utm_content=autoalert&wt.z_driver=Email_SearchAlert Seller's CommentDatsun 260Z 1976 2 seater with Chev 350 reconditioned engine and Chev Camaro 5 speed manual gearbox. Car is in is in original condition inside and out. Body is rust free and straight. Total weight increase is only about 70kG and because engine is set back against the firewall the centre of gravity of the car is now further back and lower than the standard Datsun. This results in a more stable and better handling car. The standard Datsun solid front discs have been replaced with vented discs (see photo), with late model vacuum booster which gives excellent braking. The engine was rebuilt several years ago (see photos) but the car has been in storage since 2003. The engine has been bored .030” but is otherwise standard with 76cc heads and 4 bolt main bearings. It has had only a few hours running since the rebuild and is not yet run in. The horsepower and torque figures speak for themselves to indicate the performance of the car, when compared to the standard Datsun specs. Carburettor is Quadrajet mounted on Edelbrock manifold. Extractors are custom built to suit. I need the space in my garage and it is time to find a new home for the car. Price is offered as is, which is currently unregistered, but it has an engineers certificate and could be purchased at additional cost with 12 months registration and roadworthy, as an option.

  10. 1968 Datsun 'Fairlady' 2000 Sports Roadster GUIDING RANGE$28,000 - $32,000 http://www.shannons.com.au/auctions/2015-shannons-melbourne-spring-classic-auction/datsun-fairlady-2000-sports-roadster/#.Vefw4O8ViV1

  12. 1974 Datsun 260Z $7,000.00 Negotiable http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/mount-barker/cars-vans-utes/1974-datsun-260z/1088213376?ea=5563475&utm_source=trigger&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=saved_search It is with heavy heart that the time has come that I must sell my unique piece of Japanese automobile history. Never letting me down I have owned her four years and have treated her to a number cosmetic upgrades. She was converted from 3 speed Auto to five speed manual Has had a full respray in Holden sting red (not the best but not the worst either) She is currently running twin SU's from a TR6 I believe Up front she is riding on Koni adjustable shocks and KYB bring up the rears, a much welcomed improvement over the original I tell you. The interior, both front and rear is neat and tidy with minimal wear with no rips and there are NO CRACKS in the dash. She also sports a wooden steering wheel from a 240Z.and the gear knob as pictured. The wheels have also been reverbed and all have the original z centre caps and the tyres have plenty of tread left on them. There is also a fire extinguisher mounted under the glove box Custom made centre console to house radio and speakers. The rear bumper was removed and flushed as per photos and front spoiler⁄lip added Comes with most if not all the original badges and some spares The bad bits Not currently registered but walk in rego (she was on a seasonal rego) . Being over 35 years old there is a small amount of rust on the bulk head by the battery compartment and the bottom of the rear hatch has had a not so clever repair somewhere in its long history. I have bought the replacement rear panel with all intentions to do it correctly but never got round to it as life got in the way. There is a small leak from the manifold or down pipe that I haven’t been able to find yet and the diff needs to be changed for the manual that I will supply with the sale again just something that I had planned to do but just ran out of time. The front bonnet hinges are worn and the bonnet dose not sit flush easy fix if you have the time and the technical skills. With the sale comes a few spares including manual diff a few extra badges some rear brake pads and a L26 head that I was able to pull from a wreakers a while back just in case. I am genuinely gutted to put this up for sale as this was our wedding car that I poured my heart and soul into to get ready in time however I think it’s time to pass the baton so that this car can continue to be looked after and restored to its former glory. If you have any questions please ask No Swaps.
  13. Nissan Fairlady $1 Reserve 260Z 1977 http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/nissan/auction-937444334.htm When the car was stripped down, everything was in working condition. I have a brand new full weatherstrip kit, two new side emblems and upholstery done. It has been full sandblasted, body work done and painted in it's original yellow colour. I have paid $7100 only for the paint job and have the receipt for most of the things. Basically all the work is done and all you have to do is put everything back in the car. The best would be if you are a genuine buyer come have a look and I can explain in details all the work. I am only selling at this stage because my mum wants to buy a house and she needs help with the funds. Serious buyers only contact me for viewing, please note I am only available after 6pm or weekend.
