Hello all, I may a slight issue with registering my 260 when she's all finished. I phoned SA Vehicle standards way back 5 months ago and told them I was putting on triple carbs but plumbing all the crank case and venting pipes back into the air cleaners etc etc, The young guy on the phone said yep thats all ok, so I bought new carbs and sold my old ones. I just called now and asked the same question and seems that, that was all wrong and I need the std carbs on the vehicle to get it passed problem is I no longer have the std carbs or manifold. Just wondering if anybody has a manifold and carbs laying around I can borrow to get passed through regency inspection in a few months time. Thanks

Im using a VZ commodore one with refelectors, like the picture on the first page. The rear section is going to be cut and this molded in some how, (When I say Im I really mean Mick Zzzzzed is doing all the hard work)

When they designed it they had the gt2000 new to it for inspiration, when they took it to the track they took the gt with them too, Where ever the ft went they took the gt. I believe the man that designed the gt2000 also had a hand in desiging the zed. Also things like the seat material is designed to hold you into the seat, when you sit in the car all you can see is a flat bonnet and the top of the wheel arches, designed so that you can line up the front wheels with the apex of the corner Also there's a line in the centre of the dash so you can centre the car on the track.

Hey chris240, you'd fit with out a problem, it's really low seating your bum is 400mm off the ground, I'm 6ft and had heaps of head room and had to pull my seat closer to the wheel.

The subaru will be the same car but the suspension is tunned to be stiffer giving the car a hint of over steer, seem subaru designed it that way to give it a "more Subaru feel" Subaru will be getting less units then Toyota, Also its a whole new engine design from the ground up. the bore and stroke is 86mm hence the name, even the exhaust tips are 86mm

Well Australia will see 250 units this year, and about 1800 in 2013 The prices starts at $29,990 for the GT manual and $35,990 for the GTS no prices yet on the Aero Model It puts of 147kws though not much, it dosnt seem to matter, with the weight and handling its more then enough. Has a six speed manual and shares the same auto box and the lexus.. Everything on this car has been designed for the driver, so shift light in taco, plumbed engine sound to the cabin, gear stick feel etc etc. Very fun to drive

I just like the look of them, I was worried that the rear of my de-barred z was going to look abit plan. But the diffuser will break that up, Im not too worried about performance yet

Thanks everybody.. The dash cost me 550 to get reskinned, it had massive cracks and some tweeter holes that needed to me filled. Rare spares did it for me, cheapest I could find. Thanks mick that would be great..
