  1. Hey John, I'm a local interested in the seats, maybe some interior trim. Got a contact number we can reach you on? Cheers, Tim.
  2. Should do. By the looks of things it was shot with a very wide angle, like an 11-16 or 14-24. The colour bubbles you see are called lens flare. They are a result to lens bouncing around and refracting to it's separate colours inside the lens, which is why there is one of each colour of the rainbow. As far as actually taking the shot goes, get a wide angle, shoot a fairly small aperture, (ƒ8-11 would be a sweet spot for most lenses, any more and you start to loose image quality, any less and you loose depth of field), and a tripod is a must, if for nothing else than to let you frame the shot perfectly, over and over if you have to muck about with settings. Beautiful car Rev. Hope it goes to good home.
  3. To all of those in Adelaide, or who know anyone around here, does anyone have any recommendations for a place to get my carbs balanced and tuned, etc? At the moment I am looking at Kent Town Autotune, but just wanted to know if there were any other recommendations from other members. Thanks all.
  4. Thanks for the seat tip. It went through SA reg fine regardless, which is all I really care about at the moment. Thanks for the warm welcome all, I'll see if I can get a more recent, less foggy picture up sharpish, I keep forgetting to take one in daylight. 260z 2+2-2 is probably a good way to describe it, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks guys!
  5. Good Morning/Day/Evening (depending when you read this!) All, Just thought I'd introduce myself, my name is Timothy, 19 years old, and I recently purchased a 1975 260z 2+2, with a twist. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Datsun-260z-1975-Ferrari-Red-Stunning-Condition-/170505442065?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_Cars&hash=item27b2ea9311 That one specifically, which I actually bought after lurking in the Cars For Sale forum for quite some time. Turns out it was in decent knick, and after an 11 hours, each way, road trip, and after bringing it back across the border to SA, it was registered and has now become my daily. The twist is the rear seat area has been removed and converted into a lockbox type deal, which while in need of repair, suits me fine, as I am rather sick of playing taxi to the friends anyway, and it probably wouldn't be fun on the wallet with a carbed straight six, rather than a 1.6 4banger to which I have been accustomed. I digress. Just thought I would say 'Hello' and start spending some more time with you guys, now that I actually have a car which will allow me to participate in relevant discussions.
