Not only do you get to be mere metre's away from the track you get to see it for free, close up and in your face, there is always food and drink a plenty also free during the race, plus you get to help out fellow racers like dat2kman and myself, i am a cams official myself i do Scrutineering, flag marshall, dummy grid, photography and timing, even when im not competing i get out there and help others to have fun, be nice to think that all the years i have put in helping people go racing will be rewarded back to me and dat2kman, help if you can. I ended up with my mate (lucky) and 3 guys from sydney that have corvette's, so the work is on engine just been finished building, brake upgrade's, the car is at the workshop now just waiting for the hoist to be free we have 18 but i have to wait for the "project" hoist to be free, then its on like donkey kong

ok on the impulse but like i said i was trying to help you with some 8"s so you could get ur car right. you could get someone to split you in a set of 8's and buy your 10 so they get a 8 and 10 set and so do you at a cheaper price for both parties, cant shoot a bloke for trying to help.

i had an enquiry about steel 14x9.5 and 14x9, so i rang in regards to the steel wheels and you its that not cheap i was surprised, i could supply you a set of 15x10 and 15x8 performance superlite's for the same price. Not sure what look you are going for, but 14 in is a hard size to get tyre's in, 15 is a lot easier. $1100.00

nice stuff, a guy from my work here in melb was telling me about a green z car that was there he said it was flyin, he was on turn1, he asked me if i knew you or the car, and i said no, but there you go i do know you, sort of, love the phillip island track, done as few laps round there myself. Makes me wanna go racing, but i have to wait till bathurst next year, well i have to do 1 shakedown event before then just to make sure its all ok. i have a BA XR8 Tremec at work it is the 5 speed, considered to be one of the toughest tremec's you can get, i was told by the gearbox people that this box is a close ratioand will handle 400+ rwkw final drive is .64 which will give you warp speed in top. leme know if you are interested

i have had a few pm's and phone calls, thanks all, mostly price related to refinishing of wheels. OK so depending on the condition of the wheels an average repaint would be $100 per rim, but let me explain that process, the wheels will be cleaned, sanded, undercoated, painted, clear coated, baked in a kiln @75 deg for 25 mins to harden paint, then left in the heat room for a day, we have tyre machine and balancer so we can strip and refit tyres.
