    WTB GO KART

I am looking for a gokart for my son, but something i can also have a go in, we dont have a massive budget, but i would like something with a clutch, electric start, that sort of thing, I dont want to push start a kart thats no fun, he wont be able to push start me, you know what im getting at, ok show me what you have for sale and how much you want.
  13. Good to catch up with you Gareth, of course my car is back at home and running like a charm again, very frustrating going to the track with a car that hasn't missed a beat in 6 months only to play up on the day and then the next day be all good again i played around with it last night and it came good. would not fix itself on sunday at the track.
  14. No probs its only 45 mins from my place anyway, should be a good day see you there. you need your beauty sleep? i should have stayed there from the melbourne cup weekend then, we were at sunderland bay i could see the track from the upstairs loungroom.
  15. Gareth i will be driving this one. 230+ kw at all 4, still yet to be tuned, SR20 turbo all wheel drive jap import U13 bluebird, road reg. Yep weather looks good for sure, what time you leaving maybe we can cruise down togeather?
  16. I Mr Gareth am going, looking forward to it too my first event all year, i have been to 5 drift days (working changing tyres) and the FOSC bathurst (spectator) and i have been icthing for a drive, the weather looks not too good at this stage but we will see.
  17. i could show you a few pics of $1000 rims that have pooped themselves in a similar way, context its all about the way they have been hit, having said that some rims are cheap for a reason.
  18. congrats dimitri, glad to hear all went well, you now have 3 like me.
  19. I also got this email and was not happy, i was my dream to goto bathurst and drive MY car around the circuit, with my mate whom we do lots of racing togeather, i had to face the harsh reality in early feb that my car was not going to be ready in time, i was shattered but resoved myself to the fact that i would go next year and continued preperations on my car, i went to bathurst in April with my mate to give him support as it was my idea to go in the first place, it was a trip and a half in more ways than one, we drove a coaster bus which was our base for 4 days with a race car on the trailer behind, i got 5 laps in one of the masters classes with some old guy that scared the poop out of me, i can only hope that when im his age i can still throw a car around like that, we had deciced that we were going next year before this years event so that i could get run, so full forged engine rebuild, rebuilt gearbox, larger turbo and all associated parts, bigger brakes, tein coilover suspension and so on, car made 225kw at all four wheels still needs to tuned, and now my dream has been taken away, i have no real desire to drive eastern creek not like bathurst, its a long haul from melbourne especially when phillip island is my home track only 45 mins away, we did a video diary of our trip to the mountain like Ewan and Charlie (long way down/round), when and if the chance comes up again i will be first in the que.
  20. I fit them all the time, usally for the drift guys and jap import guys, 205 on a 10 we have done and 175 on 8.5, it is usally for clearance but its also a "look" hang the rims out wide past the guard and then stretch the tyre to clear, fattens up the back end, me personally i run 225 40 17 on a 7.5in rim fits good. it works for some not for others. it could be related to pants as well, i usally find that if you can pull your pants up so your undies and your arse crack are not expossed you will fit the correct size tyre, and if you wear your pants so it cradles the bottom of your butt and have not been told that a belt is desinged to hold your pants up and not to cut off the circulation to your feet as you tighten it around your thighs. you will go with the stretch
  21. i also am interested in the rims.
  22. shot gun the dizzy if it is electronic
  23. $738 for 18 laps, meh, i did catch up with a couple guys, the guy in the #26 car, took us 15 hours to get home.
  24. PACKED UP ,JACKED UP WE LEAVE IN THE MORNING AT 5, SEE YOU UP THERE
