Thats a spotless car, not a fan of the wheels tho......Yeah im aware of the different models in Japan thanks to HS30-H ........ Am I right in saying that a Datsun 260 2+2 would be worth more than a GS31? Or in other words would a Z be worth more than a Fairlady? Take the likes of Rocky Auto, are their cars HS30? OR 31'S?

I dont think the guy intentionally set out to deceive anyone, He should have left out the NSW bit thats all . And judging by some of the pics earlier on in the post he has access to some really nice Z's. or are they Fairlady's? Ive often looked through online auction sites and never seem to come across Z's? Im I looking in the wrong place? Rocky Auto is the only place ive seen with nice Z's for sale in Japan.

Depends what the electrical thing was really........could be something as simple as a loose plug lead, that would cause it to miss and run like crap

Alright Ozy, I put an electronic dizzy on mine and done away with the balast, I might know where there is one for sale if your interested, Simple enought job to change, You will have to change your plugs tho when you change the dizzy. Still cant figure out how the RR knocked your carbs out, did you check to make sure the dizzy didn't come loose and knock your tiing out?

Just looking at the documents now, there were actually 4 cars in the container, 1964 Lotus Cortina 1974 Datsun 260z 1973 Ford Escort 1965 Ford Falcon Medite Shipping company Brought them. Adelaide was the shipping port MSC Elenora was the ship Special Interest Autos Welch Road Victor Harbour SA 5211 South Australia It says the above was the shipper from OZ Hope that helps. My Z was brought in from OZ, I didn't bring it in personally but have receipt of cost, 1200 sterling, and that was in a container with 3 other cars.

You should really use projectors with the HIDS, Too much light escapes without them and you end up blinding oncoming traffic........Ive just finished installing mine.

Ha very good, Well you didn't actually sell me the car, you sold it to a chap from the UK., he didn't get time to do anything to it so put it up for sale..........I then bought it and done some work to it

Anyone find a carpet kit for a 2+2 after? Looking for one myself.

After anything really, im a coded welder, work mostly in pharmasuiticle plants over here welding stainless and carbon pipes, but fabricate too and anything along those lines would be perfect!

Ha I was thinking about selling it before I went but decided to keep her, She'll be locked up in the garage for the year while im away Well I still have lots of work here, always wanted to go to OZ, recently split up with a long term girlfriend, and a few friends are heading over anyway so now is my chance. Must meet up sometime, supposed to meet Ozy to have a look at his car at some stage too. Jay

Hi all, Suspension setup........Eibach pro kit springs and thats it, everything else is standard suspension wise, It was only supposed to lower the car 1 inch, but think it went more like 2 inches. I f I get around to the dyno setup I'll post up the results but dont think I'll have the car then I recently got planning permission to build a house and im shortly going to have to free up some funds, and to do that I might have to sell the Z, that will be as a last resort tho. The interior has to be finished still and not going to be able to finish that either!!!

no when you vrt it they will ask you if you want a year plate, eg. 78-d-?? or a zv plate, they are the only options you have
