  1. I was in Melbourne for the weekend and while sat on the tram I was showing my girlfriend the car which was a Zed sat at the lights, unfortunately he didn't suss the cop behind him and floored it when the lights hit green. Hope you got off with a warning!!
  2. Ahh don't be like that now .Don't worry I won't trash her!! I'll give her a loving home! I've a 1995 Nissan Primera back home (my daily runner) and she's now at 196,000 miles still on the original clutch , gearbox and engine!! I never even had to put a clutch cable in her!
  3. Cheers mate, your a legend.
  4. Cheers for that: AT the moment I'm constantly on the look for something clean on the net I reckon I'd be looking to ship the car around late Spetember / early October I'm in 2 minds on what to do: 1) Buy one over here and drive it while I'm here 2) Ship before I leave Australia and keep it ticking over until then
  5. Hopefully I'll find one before I leave!! .. I did look at one carrier a while ago and it cost around euro1000 to ship one
  6. Just looked at the thread some beauts in that thread alright! Hopefully it all pans out ok another advantage of the zed is cheap road tax and classic insurance!! Though I won't be using her as my daily runner!
  7. Yeah I've asked (pm'd) him about this before when he had it up on boards.ie!! A absolute stunner of a Zed. He actually didn't import it himself he got it from some lad who'd imported it from Oz and has no idea what carrier he used to import it. It was green when he first got it! Pretty helpful guy
  8. No worries Is his name Jas and its a gun metal 260z with arch kit???
  9. Excuse my ignorance! I'm new to the Zed scene ..Whats the main difference between them? or are you refering to my autobox comment. If i buy a Zed I'd prefer a manual, more fun to drive and it would have a higher resale value in Ireland also.
  10. Can anyone recommend a freight company to ship a zed back to Ireland? Any idea about it cost wise. Anyone here have first hand experience shipping a car back to europe. Any carriers to avoid! Cheers lads!
  11. Lurking here a while now! Yep they're certainly pricey our end of the world but they're as rare as hens teeth! I'm over from here from Dublin, Ireland for a few months and am shipping a 240z or 260z back to Ireland when I'm heading back. I've been looking at a few 240z, 260z on the trader sites and saw a few I might be interested in. I've no interest in any autobox zeds.
