    Has anyone had experience with aluminium radiators for a 260z imported from the US? I have a radiator that needs re-coring or for almost the same price I can get a new aluminium one though will have to wait for shipment. Do aluminium ones work better than the original as the marketing material claims? Thanks

    I am looking for a good shop in Brisbane, preferably on the west side, that will re-core a radiator from a 260z with auto tranny. Do you have any suggestions? Or, do you know what model vehicle radiator will fit the Z and I can try to find a second hand one? Thanks Alan

    I had to get some rust repair work done to pass the safety inspection about 6 months ago. It was hard to find a place in Brisbane to to a relatively small rust job. I eventually used 4H Smash Repairs in Darra. The rust was below the drivers door in the sill. They cut it out and replaced the metal then matched the paint. I can't tell where the new paint ends and the old begins and the old paint is old. He charged me $550 and I am very happy with the work. I hope that this helps.

    I am in the far western suburb of Brisbane near Ipswich.

    I used 4H Smash Repairs (3375 5593) in Darra to get some rust repaired in my door sill. They cut out the old metal, rust proofed inside, welded in new metal and finished including matching the very old paint (orange). Can't tell where new paint ends and old begins. Great job for $550. You can have a look at it on Sunday. I assume if he can do all of this work for this price he an match and paint your air dam for less.

    I have been getting 15l/100km or worse in city driving with the round tops SU-HIF 06's. Where do you get it tuned or do you do it yourself?

    Steve; I was at the meeting on Thurs night so you may have been sitting beside me. Put me down as a tentative for the drive on Sun 12 Oct. I want to get my petrol leak fixed first before I waste more on the ground. Alan

    The previous owner had the car parked up for 3 years. It was advertised in the autotrader about 4 months ago and I picked it up along with a 77 260z 2+2 parts car.

    I am keen also. I am new to z's and have been working the kinks out of the old beast. I have a fuel leak around the transmitter unit in the petrol tank now so that is the next project. Once this is fixed, I am ready for a drive and meet.
