Personally i reckon they killed the look of a 240z with that boot mod. and seems like a strange engine option to me. 130kw at wheels isnt all that much really. Still its a hell of alot neater than my 260 and a bit more guts too. joel

I was coming but very reluctantly have to work this weekend now to try and get everything done for christmas. Joel.

I got my 2+2 about a month ago for a little under $4000.00 Mechanically perfect i reckon with a reco motor less than 2years ago new paint 3 yrs ago neat interior and nearly $10,000 of receipts in the past 8yrs. The down side is the guy who painted it didnt fix the rust properly so its coming back in a few spots and will probably need a full paint job again in the next couple of years but atleast i can really enjoy it now when ive just got it and love driving it. Not like some of the unfinished projects around for $2000 or $3000. I reckon i paid the right price for it all considered and reckon between $6000 to $8000 it what you should pay for a good 2+2 that needs nothing spent on it and has no signs of rust. Shannons auctioned a 2+2 a couple of weeks back and it sold for around $6500.

Do you get much power gain from fuel injection like the 280zx system? Ive got twin SU's on my 260z and was considering fuel injection down the track if its gonna make much difference. How much do you reckon install would cost.

I had a great time on my first trip with you guys, thanks for making Deb and I feel welcome ( although Deb was a little concerned about being the only girl) Wish we could have stayed for the rest of the trip. werent the the 260 2+2 produced upto late 1978 or even 1979?
