Just though I would throw up some info in regards to car weight and distribution. Though it might be handy for anyone looking for numbers when building a Zed.
I just finished a first pass corner weight setup on the car and found out the following...
Car Specs:
Model : 1972 240Z
Engine : 302 Windsor with Alloy heads, intake and water pump.
Gearbox : Supra 5 Speed Alloy case with steel sandwich plate.
Rear end : R200 with mechanical LSD.
Suspension and Brakes : Full AZC Setup.
Steering : Subaru Power Steering rack and Ford Power steering pump.
Wheels and Tyres : 17*9 3 Piece Rims with 235/45/17 RE011 Bridgestones
Body Mods : Fiberglass Bonnet
Additional stuff : Half cage (welded in), Evo 8MR Seats, Full Carpet Trim, Re-enforced and extended chassis rails, Unknown body work (included small steel flares and no idea how much filler)
Results:
Cross Weight @ 50%
Car Weight (Including half a tank of Fuel and all fluids + Driver) : 1197.5 Kg
Weight Distribution (Driver In) : 51% Front, 49% Rear.
Car Weight (Including half a tank of Fuel and all fluids) : 1127.5 Kg
Weight Distribution (Driver Out) : 52% Front, 48% Rear.
