  1. ;D ;D Theres another one I used to watch called Captain Pugwash and his crew mates were Master Mates (which sounds like Master Bates in the program) and Seaman Stains. Also the characters in Magic Roundabout were gay or on LSD but the Flumps were cool, that was my favourite program 30 years ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZN6lhnlyu8
  2. Can't believe my parants allowed me to watch this when I was just a littlen
  3. Dave has to order the mechanical calipers in, so I would guess it'll take 2 weeks before they arrive in OZ. C
  4. Parts orderd from AZC including the mechanical calipers
  5. Are the specs on that hat the same as the AZC as it may put the rotor in a slightly diffrent offset and Woza's caliper brakets may not align with it. The spec says 1.41" is there any chance you could mesure your AZC hat Woza? http://www.wilwood.com/Products/003-Hats/004-HD/hdsfmrh/index.asp C
  6. Nice.. I like What software are you running? C
  7. Well I would need to get the hats from somewhere and as AZC and JSK are the only ones who make them it could be a problem. Also I don't mind having the AZC bracket as it sounds like it may take a while for Woza to get everything sorted so at least I could get the car running even without the hand brake. C
  8. I was thinking to use the 2 spot Nissan caliper and disk from a Skyline GTS but I would still have to fit the mechanical parking caliper I already have the AZC front kit so would prefer his rear kit though. C
  9. Because it's not considerd a parking brake for a Road worthy, It's also impossible to use when your driving in traffic. On another note I sent an email to Dave at AZC asking if I could order the rear kit and mechanical calipers and no relpy yet. I think he's run for the hill's at the very mention of mechanical calipers and more than likley won't sell to us with the knowlage that we are going to modify his kit. So I would suggest people get the mechanical calipers from else where and not mention this mod to him :'( C
  10. Thank's Woza I'll order those from AZC The reason I'm in such a hurry is that I'm moving back to the UK with my Z's in Nov so was hoping to get the car finished by then. Worst case you'll have to post the parts to the UK C
  11. 120-8606 seems to be a universal fitment 120-2280 and 120-2281 are left and right sided. Can you adjust the leaver on the 120-8606 to pull in either direction? C
  12. I'm in on this as well but need it asap please Woza what are the part numbers for the mechanical calipers as I'm about to order the rear kit from AZC so might as well order them at the same time? Are these the right ones? 950-120-2280 950-120-2281 C

    Rear Brakes

Woza may be good to start a new thread in the brake section so other people can join in with their 2cents worth. Do you have any pics with the hand brake cable in position, then we can all get our engineering hats on and see if it's going to work ok.

    Rear Brakes

I'm in as well, but just as long as we can get this done within a month or two, we don't want it turning into a JSK group buy again ;-)

    Rear Brakes

Any chance you might be selling these brackets or might make a CAD file available for us fellow Zers?

    Rear Brakes

Nice :-D Did you have new brackets made up or did you add an additional one just for the mechanical caliper?
  17. Humm thinking about it it may have been engine block enamel so should be ok...
  18. I used Chevy orange from Bursons, forgot what brand it was but I would say it's very close to the original. C
  19. I need the full kit, so just need to know if JSK can supply with the Dyna Pro calipers disks etc as I'm to lazzy to try and decipher summit racings product list and part numbers? C
  20. I'm keen to go with these soon but I need to know about the calipers as well? C
  21. The KYB's are aimed more for a standard car. I've got Tokico HP blues and lowered springs I'm happy with the setup for the road, you could go for the Tokico Illuminas as there adjustable and more suited for road and track use. The only down side is that you'll have to import them from the US. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOKICO-ILLUMINA-SHOCKS-SPRINGS-NISSAN-240Z-260Z-70-74_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33590QQihZ005QQitemZ150230733478QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW C
  22. Mossy what size and offset are you going for? I think if you go for the Type R then you might struggle if your going for Type 8 then there shold be loads of room. XRQTR Did you find out if the Dyna Pro Willwoods with the dust seals fit the JSK kit and any Ideas what the total cost would be? Also Juan's had five months to come up with the hand brake function so do you think he ever will? C
  23. I need brakes in the next month or two! I assume that it’s the rear set up that’s the problem as we need to retain the hand brake for road worthy. Also I don’t think I could drive in traffic with out a hand brake so it’s an absolute must for me. Could we just go for the fronts on the group buy and then fit the usual Nissan S13 caliper, maxima bracket and 280Z disks for the rear? Mossy you can piece together the same kit in Australia if you have time but they won’t be up to the same braking standard as the Willwoods. C
  24. Yes it's complete the box has never been opened. It's in Oakleigh Melbourne. C
  25. Mirrors sold, weather seal kit now reduced to $310. C
