  1. Hey dat240z. For what we know the does not seem to be any structural damage due to rust. The car has not been driven in over a year now but when he was driving it around it was very responsive and handled very well. I will PM you with a price for the mirrors.
  2. HS30-00682 240Z 12/1971 I am posting this on behalf of my brother in law. It is a regrettable sale. He no longer has the time to complete the work he wanted to do. He was aiming for it to be a rally car. It has an RB25DET motor, Ecu and loom & gear box from an R33 skyline. The car has also had rear brake upgrades, R200 diff and side shafts, dual pass intercooler. He has a detailed invoice showing all the work done. The body work is starting to show age, this body has also been stich welded by the previous owner .Compared to my car when I first got it, it is in very reasonable condition. This car is white with Nissan stripes down the sides. It also has white matching rims. The interior itself is in good condition, there are custom Gauges and the racing seats have 4 point harnesses. Dash is in very good condition, no cracks or de-lamination of the dash. It has a Blue and Black theme to the interior. The windscreen is new as it was replaced at the time of the engine conversion. The tyres however will need to be replaced. The things that he wanted to do next were a roll cage, new suspension (a bit too low for rally racing) and get the bodywork into better shape. Paul has also picked up some Fender Mirrors from Nissan to be installed (Mirrors are now sold). This car is not currently registered and there is no engineer’s certificate for the conversion. This was a project car and it is being sold as is. The work done by Adelaide Z Cars was designed to be reversible if the intent was to bring it back to original. Selling for $16,500 ONO If interested you can contact Paul via Mobile 0403 191 282 or email 81akira@tpg.com.au
  3. Hello All My quest of getting my Zed restored is slowly coming along. I have had the car in with a restorer for over 5 years now and it is almost finished. It had a bit of rust on the bottom of the doors, the roof and on the boot. I hope to have it back in a month so i can start work on the interior and suspension. Cheers
  4. I don't, but i can check with the restorer
  5. My car is with a restorer at the moment (it was a pile of rust before) and i asked the guy to put in a aviation style filler, but instead he has removed the door and made the whole panel flush, it looks really good, but i need to put fuel in somewhere. Thanks for the replys. I was planning on getting the neck moved, and as i am doing all the interior myself there will be no problem covering it up. Cheers Guys
  6. Hi All I am looking to move the fuel filler to behind the license plate, just like the older Falcons have. Has anyone here done anything like this? or know exactly what would be involved apart from getting the tank modified, a bit of extra tubing, and the rear panel off a falcon. Cheers
  7. This is what i want my Zed to look like But without all the Ricer crap (Stickers) and mine will have an interior
  8. That might be me, I have these plates in South Australia, and i am also a member on Classic Z
  9. you could try ZTWO-40 for a 240z or ZTWO-60 for a 260z
  10. You can still order the Fender Mirrors off Nissan, But they don't have any more passanger side mirrors. So if you don't mind only having the drivers side mirror and paying $200 for it then you are in luck.
