  1. BTW, ask Dingo about good rust repairs, he is in the know.
  2. Good stuff mate. It doesn't look too bad there, all surface so far. The Zed bug bites again
  3. Awesome, wish I was there.
  4. Damn too small.
  5. Fuck yes, that looks awesome!! I love the gloss black, I want to do mine in that now lol.
  6. How tall are you?
  7. They will definately fit under 16s according to Dave who sells the kits...
  8. Long gone, that's what I mean, it was full of wiring problems and very unreliable. It cost me a whole lot of money in tuning when it dropped the tune when they switched the car off afterwards . A bunch of other things and it just became silly to keep going.
  9. Working
  10. Good luck mate...
  11. My Autronic SM4 is standalone. The biggest advantage is mostly due to not relying on the standard looms (spliced), I had so many problems. It wasn't cheap, but very worth it. I don't believe the 90mm throttle body is all its cracked up to be considering the price, its barely any bigger, but the forward facing plenum is more than worth the price in regards to reducing lag. I'm in Canberra.
  12. Yes we have turbos here, but at a very inflated price, in fact, everything is inflated over here, so its just cheaper to buy State side and ship back here (as long as it isn't more than $1k which we have to pay tax on, though it is probably still cheaper).
  13. Zee sounds funny to us the way Zed sounds funny to you. I reckon Zed sounds cooler . Welcome to the forum. We have many members abroad, a lot originally from Oz (Australia), including our website maintainer extrodinare... Gav, whom is residing in Ireland at the moment. Anyway, enjoy. Cheers
  14. Good luck. I totally know how you feel, but since I put her on the track, I am buzzing from thinking of what else I can do.
  15. Nice work from a fellow RB25er and hunter. I like your gearbox cross member, mine is a lot more simple and seems too small in comparison lol (yes still talking about the gearbox support ). Yeah, the RB25 puts out plenty of power for the zeds and with your combo, you could easily put out 250-300rwkw and quite safely. Good work.
  16. Thanks for the heads up guys.
  17. I am using the Wolf Creek racing kit. They are ok, but the CVs are a bit cheap and have to be regreased every once in a while, but so far they have been good. Apparently you can change the CVs for Porsche ones and they are a lot better. I'm not sure what my tailshaft is to be honest. As for the diff, I have a cusco 2 way LSD from an R33 in the longnose, but use the original input shafts that had the same spline count. It's a wicked setup, but I the 2 way is a bit over board.
  18. Awesome. I see custom CVs, what setup are you using there, or will you update that later?
  19. 200 is a lot of fun, but i use to run 250 and it was scary fast, i just feel i have more grip available before i break traction, so there would be more speed. No I haven't. I should do it though. I have a G-tech which would give me an idea. The computer was so worth it, everything is just easy to do now and the wiring is a lot more reliable than spliced looms etc.
  20. Ahh ok, I see, cool, nice work
  21. Nice one mate. Which engine mounts did you use?
  22. Well I have it on a low boost and it is only running 200rwkw, but with all the mods I have done, I could easily push 300, but I want the engine to last a while. I think I'll turn the boost up a little to get about 230kw. I have done Sard 550cc Injectors, BOV, front mount intercooler, 3 inch exhaust, rebuilt with standard internals, N1 oil pump with JUN collar, intake at the front of car, tuned length manifold, highflowed turbo with VG30 exhaust housing and steel wheel, Autronic SM4 computer and a few others I have probably forgotten lol
  23. They look great John, I reckon go for it if they meet your requirements.
  24. Well done from a fellow RB25DET zedder. I had my intake plenum cut and shut to face forward, it reduces lag by an absolutely huge amount. I really like that paint job, thats a nice colour.
