I'm going to Polish the one that i take off as well. :-?

Sanded it by hand with 100 Grade sandpaper and then 400 Grade. Then got a 17 dollar polish kit and Polish polish polish. Next will pull Transmission body apart and do that. That will be a trick.

I was polishing a valve cover like that. Pain in the arse. How do you get the inbetween bits? All those nook and crannies?

With the sandpaper folded multiple times. I spent most of my 20's on preperation (sanding) so i find it very easy.

looks great but you do realise unless you coat it with something it will lose the shine. Any plans?

I'll probably leave that until the final stage rebuild where i strip every nut and bolt off the car. :shock:
