Century batteries are fugly lol, As an alternative to bright yellow/blue I can supply Bosch batteries white/blue+white/black. I also deal with Odysee/Optima. I think a S5 22F680 would look nice next to your GT40R pete :P

could allways just paint your battery black>

its cheap and easy  ;)

I think it looks awesome, i wouldnt call it rice.

I allways thought 'rice' stood for Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement.

Eg, big yet non functional wings, vents, oversized brakes ect.

I don't mind the idea, but I would prefer it with some shape about it, either as Scoota said, or by just replacing the vented bit at the back. Make it look like it wasn't just a bit of Perspex you had sitting around and just bolted on, but as you say, could be done after you put the airbox on so you don't get water in your stacks if you're really fussed.  :) It would look good, looking side on straight at the carbs though  8)

I can see why people might call it 'rice', but really, at least it has triples under there, it's not like you just have the factory standard equipment under the bonnet... Doesn't rice come from 'rice burner'? ie. an asian car, but as people started trying to copy the Japanese 'tuner' scene with stupid bodykits and milo can exhausts, people started deeming these mods 'rice' because they were commonly done to asian cars?

Anyway, I suppose that's not the point, I guess it's easy to forget that if noone does anything new, this place would get boring pretty quickly. Not everything is going to appeal to everyone, that's the nature of modified cars (or cars in general).

Cheers.

How are they even remotely rice from factory?  Because they are Asian?  They didn't come with anything that didn't serve a purpose like Neons, sick sound systems or perspex viewing panels..  ;)

Rice Rockets was the name given to Japanese cars when they first started invading the western world back in the 70's because they were fast without big V8's and the people that made them ate rice ;D
