Brabham Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Hi guys, I have some black leather seats that are a little worn and I just wanted to dye the parts that are a bit worn so they remain all black. Does anyone know how I should do this? Is black liquid shoe polish a good idea or will it rub off? Cheers. Quote
chris240 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I seem to recall being told by a wise old upholster to use black "raven" oil to keep a soft top on our healey sprite looking black as the ace of spades....did the trick You can also buy aerosol upholsterey dye.....probably your best shot. MaygZ Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Black liquid shoe polish is water soluble! You will have a black butt after a long drive! Quote
Brabham Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 Would Auto-one have the aerosol dye? Cheers Quote
