240z fuel tank into 260z 2+2??

Are these fuel tanks interchangeable or are they completely different?  I am considering putting 240z tank into my 260z while I restore the original tank.  Just wondering if this is possible.

I have a 2+2 tank in my 260Z 2 seater.

I think there are about 5 tank variations between '70 & '78, but whether that's tank shape or just the venting system I don't know.

Scoota G, is the 2+2 tank any different to the 2-seater one?

I can squeeze 63 litres in the 2+2 tank. The 2 Seater one would take 57 Litres!
