timmy280 Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 hey guys i changed the spark plugs in my 280 and i went to crank her over and she wont start, i checked the plugs and leeds and theyre all fine!!... after a while the engine flooded -.- yea im a idiot i know ... i waited a few days t see if the fuel would evaporate but nothing worked i did the old crank for 20 seconds throttle all the way down and then waited for 30 seconds and tried again but nothing happened except if i crank for too long it builds up to much pressure and pushed air out of the air box :/ any ideas on how i can get her working again? Moderators PB260Z Posted July 30, 2012 Moderators Posted July 30, 2012 Sounds like the firing order is wrong, when the engine is at TDC check that the rotor is pointing to lead 1. Quote
Linton Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 If those plugs got really wet you may have to toss em 1,5,3,6,2,4 in case you dont know, even put your old plugs back in at least it ran Quote
