I have done a RB conversion and as a result needed to change the sump from front bowl to rear to avoid hitting cross member.  I sourced from another member on here a rear bowl sump suitable for the rb. He wasnt sure if it was a 200zr or rb patrol unit bit after installing it and going thru engineering yesterday i need to raise it from the ground.

At the moment it sits about 130mm off the ground and has a lot of room to alter the shape (raise bowl from ground) and increase the lost volume at the front of the sump....

Has anyone done this before or can do it themselves??

Thanks guys

My 200ZR sump is pretty low, so it probably is the same one.  I am thinking about doing the same thing and adding some baffles too, curious to see what people think.

Not sure what your question is, but sumps are changed all the time for engine conversions, I have done heaps and easy to do your self, the best way to keep it straight is to bolt it down to either a plate or old engine block as it will warp with welding, most of mine that I shorten the height  I added space out the sides with a nice curve upside down 9 shape to allow for the extra oil.

Hey Dat240.

Check out my thread on building a sump in the engine section of the forum and you'll get an idea on how to do it.

Cheers
