10k for a rough 240z, 3k for a motor,2k for a good gearbox, 1k for clutch, 2 k for coil overs, easy 1k engineering bits, brakes ?, the numbers make sense when you add up to 22k.

As peter Allen said, 400hp, but that's is at the wheels. Car is capable of low 11 sec 1/4 mile, 10l / 100 economy. Excellent buy for serious performance. Good luck with the sale.

Tim, maybe you should go the other way and increase the price. Sorry to call your car a rat rod but I am not a fan of putting anything but Nissan engines in a Z. I have never been in a V8 Z but can imagine the raw power that must come from installing such an engine in such a small car. Bit like a V8 Supercar I would think. I am in Gladstone every second Monday and if possible would love to go for a spin in your car before you sell it just to say I have been there. Good luck with the sale . 8)

Thanks tir33d.

Peter, If you were here yesterday I could've taken you for a strap but I'll be away next Monday.

Send me a message next time and I'll convert you from this 'Nissan engine only' thing you've got going on  ;D

All gone mate I think it landed in brissy today. Thanks for following me yesterday. For everyone else I made up some 2" thick wooden blanks to be inserted in my coil overs to give the zed an extra 2.5-3" ground clearance for loading on and off transporters. Only problem was I had to drive it to the depot 20k's away. All good though they stayed in place with cable ties, I just didn't drive it too hard which was painfull being my last trip and all.

I hope the new owners know you did this, I know of many occaisions when spacer blocks have been left in springs on race cars to get through scrutineering and then forgotton to be taken out and then wonder why the car handles so badly....
