Have encapsulated mounts on the race/rally cars, ie if car rolls over hard, engine wont rip out of engine bay.

Practically a solid mount

It uses a piece of 2" diam 45 mm long tube, welded onto the bracket that bolts to block, inside the tube are two bits of poly bush from a rear Falcon suspension arm, then a U shaped ear is bolted to crossmember, that the 2" tube slides between, shanked bolt throgh.

One each side.

It is a custom job, Ford were the first to come up with it on the rally Escorts, it is called "World Cup Crossmember"

Stew Wilkins can do them,or

Just get whatever MSA in the States can supply or i can get in Nismo hard rubber units, which are much stiffer than what is supplied in Australia.

I just have cheapo stock type from ebay, they are super soft and I'm not expecting them to last long. I had a look for heavy duty types but only came across Kameari type and damn were they expensive.

If Nismo, still made them for us, today, they'd be even more expensive, due to low production runs.

The Kameari ones will be about the best available. I can get them for you, the ordering process can be ,,, interesting !

Look at making the gearbox mount a bit more robust as well
