72 240 Rear Beaver Panel....where to buy new?

Hi Guys,

 

I'm thinking of doing some body work to the rear end and not sure where to start in terms of looking for the parts I need..

 

I'm after all the panels needed to redo the whole rear end. From beaver panel up to the trunk top face.

 

I might call AllZParts in Hornsby Syd on Monday but was curious if there were any other suppliers.

 

Rare spares in blacktown seem to have the trunk top face piece but not the beaver panel that holds the rear lights and all.

I'm also interested in where you get the panel that the tail lights bolt onto.  For a year or so I have been looking for a damaged unrepairable shell to cut the parts from but have had no luck. New would be great but have only seen the top and bottom parts. How did you go with allzpart?

So if I'm understanding the rear end right is there not another panel piece that houses the rear lights on top of the one in your link?

 

Peter - keen to see in pics what new piece you have as I'm unfamiliar with these panels the names to them aren't really registering....thanks.

wow......after an hour or so of hard google research I can safely say the panel in Peter's pic above is not in reproduction of any kind at all!!!

Here Are the Genuine Nissan Part numbers for the rear section. You may be able to get a helpful dealer source one from JP if they have stock. Good Luck

bit off topic, but letting you know the wheels you sold me in sydney, made it to canberra had them for a few years and a few months ago made there way to Melbourne to reside on Zedmans trackcar.. well travelled set of mags they where !!

Very bad news to report guys. Allzparts confirmed Nissan no longer make the part and he has no alternative source for them.

 

Not sure what to do now. Might get sister inlaw to call Jp dealers and see if there's any old stock lying around in Jp.

 

Let know if of you guys are interested. I might get two for myself if I find any. Fk never thought I'd run into this issue.
