LS1 Z project

Hi guys

 

I'm building 74,260zx with LS1 V8 engine

 

I need your help guys to choose the best suspension for my swap like shocks, coils , subframe , sway bar and any other extra parts you recommend .

 

I also need your help to choose a brake system front & rear to handel 400 rwhp

Having built a 240z with ls1 you will find that to get a mod plate you will need to upgrade to at least 4 spot calipers and vented discs on front along with disc brake rear Suspension need to upgrade struts along with springs and depending on car most likely all bushes sway bars would be personal choice

your 260z is good choice as it weighs heavier than a 240z so should pass the engine capicity to weight formula for engineering

 

As paul said the arizona z car stuff is pretty good gear and reasonably priced for what u get

Sounds like a great build, please do share some pictures of it. Seems there is quite a following for old Datsun's in the middle east. I had a guy in Kuwait asking if he could buy my Z a couple of years back.
