This is awesome. Seriously considering this for my C110 when it's built up.

I would assume, given it's an RB30 crank these kits should be reasonably easy for you to supply?

How does the engine respond/rev compared to the stock L28 Crank? I'm not familiar with the weight of each sorry.

well you can not compear a L28 to one, it has more power  at 4000 rpm than most race l28s have at 7000

290 ftlb at 5000

and with the right head and carbs it revs no problem.. we will have a new vid on youtube next week

That is an awesome piece of kit, I'd be knocking on your door for one had I not already invested in some trick bits already that just need assembling. Keep the R and D going Peter.

89 stroke is as big as it gets ,  you can not get any more in the block ,its part Les collins and part me thinking gee it would be cool to build the tuffest L in the world . We have built it to 3.4 with a 90 mm bore but its so hard to find a block that will go to 90mm  .. even 89mm is hard but we go throw lots of blocks to find  one that we can use .

and the other part of the build that needs to be right is the head, most strokers fail to make good hp because the port is to small in size and flow ,, this combo really needs the port to be 40mm intake and it need to flow 350+ hp of air

carb size needs to be 47mm min , 45 mm carb will stop at 320hp

so its really a package if you wont it to show its full colour

So this pushes 2.8 to 3.3? What a monster why havnt the japs already done this the biggest I've seen is 3.2

I believe the Japanese did in the mid 80's. But it was very very costly and the results back then did not match up to the investment of time and $$. L6 head development has moved a long a bit since to 80's.

i think its been done before , but it was very expensive .. and like you said the heads back then were not as good as they are now ,,,  this setup really needs a good head to work ,  the difference is huge , for eg, LES built the first one with a mild head and hp was 280 at 6 and it made good torque ,, but when i built Jake's i went to town on the head with monster ports and great flow  now power was 338 at 6000 and torque was up, and power did not fall over at 6 it was on the way up 350 at 7000rpm  , now the exhaust is holding it back , well not for to long we are making a new set, and we have done some mods to the cooling system and com presion , next week it back on the dyno to see if we can make 360hp  ..

stay tuned
