Automatic 260z's

So, im kind of looking at a 260z atm.

The thing is, its an auto.

It goes without saying that you'd be hard pressed to have the full z car "driving experience" in an auto, but i was still curious as to how well they drive.

What is the auto like?

Just say i wanted to convert it to manual down the track sometime, is it a particularly hard thing to do? Any more difficult than what it would be with other cars of the same era?

This is how desperate i am to find a nice and clean 260z... I'm considering autos! haha..

Any opinions or info would be appreciated.

I've heard it's a fairly straight forward. I picked up a 280zx 5 speed for $80.00 and put it in my car, runs great.
