zzzzed Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Ok i have the lift pump soeted for my rb20det. What i need to find find out, Is a bosch 044 to much for the stock rb20det ecu and injectors? The reason i ask is that i will want to up the power later on and maybe even upgrade to an rb25det so if i can get away with only having to buy the fuel pump once and not have to upgrade it later as i add more engine mods that would be great Quote
benny Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Hey Mick, When i had it it was running the equivalent of a 44, just run a pressure regulator with it if you're worried!! Plus once its on the road you will want to go for a more aggressive tune and injectors so you may as well buy the right pump now!! Ben Quote

That's what the FPR does - maintain relative fuel pressure, regardless of air pressure (a linear relationship). A rising-rate FPR doesn't work in a linear way, the fuel pressure rise is disproportional to the air pressure. Quote
