Crank? Pistons? Con Rods? Oil pump? water pump? When were the rings and bearings last done? If you can supply all of these, with proof, you will have a good chance of getting top dollar. Quote

You have to attract the buyer, not the other way around, the way to do that is to describe what you're selling. Put it this way, I'm selling a TV, would you buy (or even enquire about) my TV for $3k if that's all you knew (that it was a TV)? or would you want me to tell you the size, resolution, inputs, if it's digital, if it's an LCD / plasma / tube? Honestly, you'd probably just move on to the next ad and not even bother messaging me about it. It'd take 30 seconds to type out the specs of the engine. If you can't be bothered doing this, then why should the potential buyer bother chasing you for the info? My 2 cents anyway, good luck with the sale Quote

dat2kman Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 This was up at my place couple weeks back, sounds quite nice, prob has a mild street cam fitted, idles nice and grumpy, extractors sounded nice, best of all when you left, and gave it a little bit of right foit, it echoed beautifully all up the valley! I smiled! Now if someone just wants the engine, i'd be interested in the gearbox, if it has to be separated. Quote
