Riceburner Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Cool looking drift/time attack Z I dont think it's the most beautiful ever but it's damn nice for a race car..... http://www.driftworks.com/2011/04/is-this-the-most-beautiful-drift-car-ever/ Quote
chev z Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Incredible !!! My 240 has a s13 rear end conversion with the rota 9.5x17's allround , using the Imsa widebody flared guards, coilover suspension with the willwood brake upgrade with wheel spacers . The similarities are unbelievable Except for the paint jobs, I really like theirs Quote
DAZDA Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Despite this, "... you can guess how slammed Aardvark really is. In fact it’s 1175mm or 46“ tall, a full 4“ drop, done properly with redesigned geometry and Driftworks arms and coilovers all around." the front splitter is still a long way off the ground??? Something doesn't look right to me. Maybe the wheels are too big - the bigger the rolling diameter the higher the car is from the ground and you run out of room to lower the car more and fit the larger wheels in the wheel arches (even with flared guards)... chev z Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Totally agree about the splitter being to high . I've just imported the IMSA splitter that goes with the wide body guards and they are aprox. 50mm wider, the only catch being that they are designed to incorporate the Gnose so extend way to far forwards ,so I will have to cut and join somehow. Going the Gnose path was easier but more costly, saying that tho, I wanted to retain the original open front look which complicates things but looks better to me.Each to his own I suppose. Height wise . He might need the extra height to enable the V6 to fit without cutting the sump or running a dry sump setup. When we fitted the LS1 we had to cut the sump by approx. 30mm and it's still the lowest part of the car. Riceburner Posted October 17, 2011 Author Posted October 17, 2011 There seems to be zero tyre to guard clearance, that could be the biggest problem. In the pics it's a bit hard to tell but it looks as if the front air dam isn't the same depth as the sil panels. I think it looks a few inches higher than the sills when side on. If you look at the door area it's fairly low, but from front on it's like a 4wd. What is the grille made of? Quote

Riceburner Posted October 20, 2011 Author Posted October 20, 2011 I'm feeling lazy, do you have the link Quote

I thought you already had the link, I've tried searching numerous things on hybridz and find it very time consuming to get what your looking for. Thanks anyway though Quote
