T.A.P Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Last week I start painting my mini bus and I gotta say Im glad its done, finally, after 2 years of hard labor. The colour is metallic gunmetal, 2pk paint, sprayed with Itawa 1,8mm gun and came out pretty good. I thought I need a smaller tip but had no problems. Below is a list of things that await me; Rust cutting and welding Diff changed and rebuilt (not by me) 4 pots cap upgrade Air con system new dash 300ZX turbo electric seats New centre console Retrofit projector lights New rubbers Hertz MLK 165 Critical Mass R69 Mcintosh MC440 Odyssey PC1750 ...among many other things The coming days shall be very fun for me ) Quote
zedevan Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 colour looks nice, and nice HID retrofit - you should get some clear 7" lenses so the output is even nicer, and shows it off a bit more Quote
luvemfast Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I don't know what half that sh1te is on your list, but..... Looks great. Quote
T.A.P Posted September 13, 2011 Author Posted September 13, 2011 Yea half of the list are audios components. Im very into SQ Update...little TLC on the backseat, amp installed and wiring half-done :-\ Quote
T.A.P Posted September 16, 2011 Author Posted September 16, 2011 Yep...finally finished the wiring. Installed a couple of things today, took a lot longer than I anticipated. Threw the non-working piece of antenna junk away and going all electric. The couplertec system came today, I know the Sacrificial Anode method wont work on cars, but this, this is the Capacitive Coupling Technology. Im not sure if it actually works but the science behind it is sounds. Armrest with cup holders with coins slots ... Loving it... and..the mess....but that's another's day work. Quote
T.A.P Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 Ive been waiting anxiously and finally the leather covers arrived today. Very well made and soft, I used extra padding since the foams looked a little tired..... I know my a$$ and back will thank me for this ;D Quote
T.A.P Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 In the process of eliminating the noises at the rearend, having replaced the front diff mount with RT mount today I attacked the unis. circlips-done 30mm socket works best with halfshaft unis, and 25mm works best with driveshaft unis. Caps has rusts on them... All cleaned waiting for SW heavy duty unis... For the people who are using the RT mount, do you use the front insulator as well? Im thinking of putting the front insulator in as well and sandwich the diff in between, but Im not sure if thatll do any good. Quote

luvemfast Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Ahhhh, I love google translate. Makes for some interesting reading How did you buy it and importing? Quote
T.A.P Posted November 13, 2011 Author Posted November 13, 2011 Ive got them off from importmonster, shipping price /comission fee is killer but I thionk its well worth it. Sourcing these parts here would take ages, I was gonna go with Subis diff and custom stub axels from John over at Hybridz but this one came up so I pulled the plug. Quote
