nup, well the whole assembly isn't, so depends which assembly you mean

i'm not sure if the light assembly itself is or not, i'd assume they are the same as it would make more sense from a manufacturing point of view, but the panel is different as they are wider

hope this helps

i've never had 2+2 tail lights to confirm this, but i'd say the rear number plate lights are the same as the 2 seater, and the actual lights just unscrew from the black panel as a seperate assembly, which i'm guessing is the same as the 2 seaters.

the black surround panel thing however is different, its wider, and to make them not have a huge blank section theyhave the two raised bits to the centre of the reverse lights, which the 2 seaters dont. so the seller really should remove his "Original will fit any datsun Z" as its not the case, it would be easier to put 240z lights in a 260 2 seater than these

so if you want really good condition lenses then it might b worth it, but from the pic i'd say the exhaust side one is slightly darker so its not worth it

apparently not very, and it doesn't seem like it would be as they are the same size atleast! sulio has done it, i think it just involves drilling some new holes as the screws are in different places, just put some whiteout on the screws, put in in place and you've got yourself marks for where to drill! although i'm sure there's a more sophisticated way...

once my wheels are on i plan to start back up on my skyline rear lights amongst other things lol

the 240 rears are pretty easy to install and the electrical plugs where the same fo rthe 260 74 model. There is some cutting and welding involved though. Once you remove the 260 tail lights you will see what needs to be done it's pretty straight forward. i reckon the 240 lights look heaps better!

what did you have to weld sulio? out of curiosity, lol. i assume it isn't really structural so do you think a really good adhesive would do the job, like hte ones people use to shave the door handles?
