Datsun to go back into production?

I remember jokingly saying how it would be good to get a new Datsun that would be probably made in China as everything else seems to be made from there these days so maybe this wish could come true?

they only stopped making the datsun 1200 ute a few yearts ago in south africa, they called them the bakki and where powered by the a15 1.5 litre
