Linton Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Guys thanks for the help the p/o wrecked the door trims and the side panels behind the seats by fitting speakers, my bad luck the donor car was white does anyone know where to get a rattle can of vinyl paint that will match the brown Linton Quote
Stivva Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 The short answer is yes you can paint them with a VHT vin dye. But if the match is not perfect you may have to dye everything else. If you do en up using a dye on other things (plastic) put a coat of clear to hold the colour on the plastic as dye only sets into vinyl, not plastic and will wear off fast. Quote
aegean Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Daley's has a brand called SEM, which is very good. There is also a vinyl cleaner prep spray, but you can use Prepsol. http://www.daleys.com.au/contact Quote
Six_Shooter Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 We SEM at work for dying vinyls and some plastics. Works well, when the part is prepped properly. Quote
