. Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Just a bit of a quiz. What do people think this car is? I saw it in a car museum at Forbes the other day. One hint, Its not the obvious answer (Lotus). If you actually know the answer please hold off at least a while because I am interested to hear some guesses. Quote
madz Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Im more curious about that doll looking thing in the car than the car itself... Quote
Brabham Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Looks kind of like a Venturi Atlantique. That is my guess. Otherwise it is a replica Lotus Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted February 9, 2011 Administrators Posted February 9, 2011 Is it a Nissan? And is it a prototype that never made it to production? Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted February 9, 2011 Administrators Posted February 9, 2011 Nevermind I thought it might have been this: http://www.google.com/images?q=Nissan+Mid+4 But don't think so... Quote
Mr Camouflage Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 I would have sworn black and blue that it was a lotus elan circa 1989 to 1995 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/be/Lotus_Elan.jpg So I hit up wikipedia to prove it was and discovered that KIA bought the rights to the design and manufactured them. So I'd guess its a Kia Elan. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/00/KiaElan2.jpg Saw a Lotus one for sale in Perth the other day, which is how I knew it was a lotus. The 2013 Elan looks like a bit like a Lambo: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/59/Lotus_Paris_1.JPG Trick question eh. Heres another one: What car is this (aka, when is a Datsun not a Datsun): Quote
Scoota G Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Is it an import mazda rx something rotary. I think a mate had one but not convertable. Quote
Gyra Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Eek! A Taiwanese 1600 with leaf sprung rear end! Quote
Mr Camouflage Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Yep. Yue Loong (A Taiwanese car company) built a variety of Nissans under licence. Mostly early Bluebirds and Cedrics. Quote
