Hi Guys,

I know someone was looking for ZG parts and possibly a Gnose the other day. I managed to find Eiji's (featured car on this site's) blog.

It seems www.datsunspirit.com is down and he might be revamping it.

Also he has an Ebay Store / Account here:

Here is a good example of Aftermarket vs OEM G-nose.

You can see the OEM nose is actually a very high quality item with ducting for the radiator. I'm still contemplating if I'll fit the Gnose on my own Z someday. My biggest issue is cutting the guards to fit the flares.

It's slightly misleading, as it makes it look as though all genuine 'HS30-H' model Fairlady 240ZGs had the radiator ducts. That's not the case.

The very earliest 'HS30-H' models didn't have the radiator ducts. They were a factory update, added after many air-con equipped cars were found to be marginal on cooling, and some people in Japan even call the rad ducts "Air Con Ducts". Some early cars were retro-fitted with them, and some not.

The ducts are not a sure sign to tell OEM from aftermarket parts......
