WTB - 260z Fuel/Volts Gauge *FOUND*

Looking for a fuel/volts gauge to replace a faulty unit in my datto.

:-\  I came by these through breaking up two 260 Coupes & a 2+2 to boot. All the gauges appear to be the same. Maybe someone else can enlighten us if they are all compatible or whatever.

The 240z and early 260z had a fuel/ammeter rather than fuel/voltage.

 

My limited memory of elec engineering subjects tells me that the circuit would have to differ for an ammeter to voltmeter. But I'm sure someone here could tell you for sure.

Yes the wiring is different as i bought a dash off peter mc which has the later volt gauge and went to fit it to my car. No Dice so in went the old amp gauge.

Just had a look on my ebay to check what I ordered!

Gauge I purchased definitely says VOLTS.  Thankfully!

 

Thought I might have ordered an AMP unit by mistake for a minute there!
