PeterAllen Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 I am squaring-off the tops of the door opening to facilitate sliding windows. What then happens is the top edge profile of the windscreen is not aesthetically sympathetic to the revised door opening. I wonder if I could merely paint a faux profile on the windscreen? Provided there was no wiper contact, would it last? Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted August 29, 2010 Moderators Posted August 29, 2010 Signwriters do it on a daily basis so I think it can. Not sure on the finish though.. Quote
PeterAllen Posted August 29, 2010 Author Posted August 29, 2010 I have concerns as to the durability of paint applied with common signwriting techniques - please advise if these concerns are unfounded. Quote
lightmaster240z Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 yes you cab get a paint that stick to glass but it will etch the glass to hold on to it Try your local paint shop and look for tile paint. I not sure on the colours that you can get Regrads Bruce Quote
