Hi,

i have had a 280zx dizzy installed on my 260z [l26] for a couple of years and the tacho jumps around quite a bit. has anyone had this problem before and know how to fix it? i read something about a resistor but thought i would ask formally.

I believe the mod is to put a 10kOhm resister in series with the tacho connection. I have the same setup, but my tacho does not work at all yet, so I haven't had cause to try the resistor yet.

Yeah it wont jump (to my experience anyway) it will just not move.

My 240Z tach got jump right before it stopped working for good.
