Phillip Island Sprint 11th & 12th of November

PIARC are running the last round of the group 5 sprint series for the year at Phillip Island on the 11th and 12th of November.

The last couple I have been to, have had heaps of track time, so it should be a good weekend.

Is anyone planning on going?

I should be there! unfortuneatley my car wont be, but I should be camera in hand.

I'm considering entering, need a decent set of brake pads though, my stockies didn't handle Sandown very well

I am busily trying to get my car ready as well.

I had a vibration when the car got above about 120, so have had new unis and the tailshaft balanced. (fingers crossed it fixes the problem)

Hopefully tomorrow i am getting the cage put in.

It will be good to see a few Z's down there.

I might be there if I get new spring for MR2 by then ...which is unlikely though :evil:

Hey Heath, yours vibrates as well? Mines about the same: around 115-120km/h

How much to get the tailshaft balanced?

I got the tailshaft unis changed and the shaft balanced for $130 I think it was.

Are you running down at the island this weekend?

I'm not sure now. I put a different set of wheels on the back and the vibration is gone. I can't run these other wheels and i'm not sure what to do! The 'bad' wheels have new tyres and were balanced only a few months ago. Might have to go to another tyre place for another balance.
