Jinxed Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Hey Perth people, Ive finally got around to organising another cruise for all the Perth zedders out there, so heres the details.......... Frist meet, Sunday 1/8/2010, meet at Stirling central shopping centre (behind hungry jacks please) at 12.30 so we can leave shortly afterwards This cruise will be heading up through the hills towards Toodyay, then on to Northam then heading back down to civilization, and ive deliberately included some of the more interesting roads out that way. All the roads we are travelling are fully sealed and well kept (no potholes, excess gravel or sand) so it should be a good experience particurly for those who havent done it before. I anticipate that this cruise will go for most of the afternoon and as usual i have found a nice spot to finish up for food and drinks after the main event for those interested. This will be a zed car only event, subject to the usual rules, ie no zed car then pm me beforehand and we can arrange something, but the more zeds and zedders the better!i will also be inviting the broader zed community so expect to see some later model zeds out there as well...... Jinxed Posted July 10, 2010 Author Posted July 10, 2010 ahh bummer, that was a good cruise that you missed as well the last one...... we are expecting a decent turnout this time round, got one of the guys coming in his 240z, and the usual crowd of z31,32, 350 and 370z guys will come along as well......... get that zed on the road and come cruising! that goes for everyone lol..... RayRay Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Yes need more s30 action. Felt left out at the last one, the only one flying the 240/260 flag. I cannot say yet if I can attend yet as my car is going into the mechanics next Thursday but tat should give them plenty of time to fix it before the next weekend. I'd love to come too because outback "cruises" are always fun but I'll let you know. Ray. Quote

Jinxed Posted July 17, 2010 Author Posted July 17, 2010 weve had about 4 or 5 different 240z or 260z on various cruises, but usually only 1 or 2 on each cruise, would be great to have a early model zed contingent with us, but that can oly happen if you guys want to come..............suffice to say you are more than welcome and extremely respected.........rayray, sorry if you felt out of place, coz you certainly werent, you were in the exact right place, yoiurmore than welcome any time...... any way as mentioned, hope to see some of you guys there, or all of you hehe! Whittie Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 If you want to see a contingent of zeds, go and check out the regularity at Wanneroo on the 1st of August on the way home/before the cruise. Actually scrap that, the cruise will go all day as racing is about 10-4 so you won't make it. You should organise a cruise to the next one! The 1st is not, but you usually get about 7-10 zeds at the regularity championship rounds. The next championship rounds are: 12 September I am pushing and should hopefully get the club to run a regularity trial at night under lights on the short track. Now THAT would be worth coming to see. I'll let you know as it progresses, it depends on track availability at the moment but I think a sat night opened up later in the year due to a cancellation.
