roadshow Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 i'm not sure if i am remembering correctly but does Mick Molloy's character on crackerjack drive a Z? Quote
NZeder Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 yep a white 260z 2+2 if I recall correctly watched the movie on a flight between Auckland and Melbourne when it first came out Quote
roadshow Posted October 12, 2006 Author Posted October 12, 2006 are there any other movies that include a Z - a bond maybe? Quote
NZeder Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 "Speed" - a black 280zx 2 seater gets hit from the rear by the bus and is shot over a car transporter - many many more too, there is one in the car wash shot of "Bring it on". There was one that used be on "That 70's Show" (do you get that in Oz? I has been 3 years since I lived there). Re bond movie - not sure there was one with a Toyota 2000GT back in the day but I think that would be a close to a Japanese car you would get in a bond movie. Quote
Graedat Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 I just watched crackerjack and Mick drives a Blue 260z 2+2 with the rear seat removed. Great movie !! Quote
sid280 Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Boogie Nights has a 280zx in it. And I was watching Yunkyard wars one day, and they had to make car crushers. They had about 40 cars in this stadium area and they were smashing them all to bits, I see a 280zx about to get crushed and the teams machine die's just before it runs the 280zx over. The 2nd team brings their machine along to finish the job and that one ALSO mysteriously died before crunching the 280zx. The final scene was an uncrushed 280zx on front of 2 make-shift car crushers. Also "You got Served" has a 280z in it, one of the stars guys cars, its always in the background when he's playing ball n stuff. Quote
